TransUnion LLC is a credit reporting agency with headquarters in Chicago, Illinois and operates in 25 countries across five continents. It is considered as one of the three national credit bureaus in the US, the other two being Equifax (equifax.com) and Experian (experian.com). It currently employs over 4,000 people and has annual revenues exceeding $1.2 billion.
As a credit bureau, TransUnion maintains credit histories for over 500 million credit holders around the world. It also provides insurance credit information, risk management, and real estate information services to more than 50,000 clients. Its subsidiary, True Credit (truecredit.com), offers credit assistance and advice to both individual and business customers.
