myFICO (myfico.com) is a website run by the Fair Isaac Corporation, the company behind the FICO score used by majority of lenders to assess credit risk. The site serves as the consumer service division of the company, providing credit advice and assistance to Fair Isaac customers. The service was established in March 2001 and has since sold more than 10 million FICO scores.
The website is allied with the three national credit bureaus in the US: Equifax (equifax.com), Experian (experian.com), and TransUnion (transunion.com). Its aim is to help consumers understand their true credit ratings by drawing information from all three bureaus. Besides credit ratings and information, it also offers credit monitoring, risk management, and business consultancy services.
