Experian
Experian Plc. is a credit information company with headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. It also has major offices in Costa Mesa, California and Nottingham, England. It currently operates in 36 countries and employs over 15,000 people. As of 2007, it has revenues of over US$3.4 billion.
Although based in Europe, Experian is most active in North America, where it is one of the three major credit bureaus. The other two are Equifax (equifax.com) and TransUnion (transunion.com). Experian is the biggest of the three in terms of coverage. It also serves as a credit reporting agency in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, South Africa, Japan, China, and Australia.
