Credit.com was established in 1995 by Adam Levin, who served as director of the New Jersey Division of Public Affairs. It was initially designed as an information repository, which is still its main function today. It also serves as an online marketplace where consumers can get valid financial products and find advice on personal financial management.
Credit.com is a registered company, but it is often mistaken as a free or amateur information resource site. Its revenues come mostly from its financial products, which include credit cards, debit cards, loans, and credit reports. Loans are offered through lending partners but not directly from Credit.com.
Levin has served as the President and CEO since the company’s founding. Todd Kutcher, one of the original associates of the site, serves as the co-CEO. As Credit.com continued to expand, Ian Cohen, a producer development professional, came on board as Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer.
